My Background
The big question in my life that I can only answer in retrospect is “How did I get from there to here?”
There - meaning a woman who was adopted as a baby into a conservative Christian household, who dreamed of singing in a rock band, working in the fashion industry and doing things my own way. I was told God had a plan for me and my response was, “Yeah, but I’ve got a better one!”
Here - meaning a woman who lives to serve through God-centered coaching, speaking, writing and singing. I’ve lived long enough to re-trace my divinely guided path to its roots and am in constant awe and grateful amazement at all the ways God shows up to lead me in the direction He wants me to go.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that God’s plan is always far superior to my own and He created me with the unique gifts and talents I need to fulfill the purpose He’s laid out for me.
In that sense, I’m not unique at all. Every person on the planet is also born with the insight and abilities they need to walk the path that is just right for them.
Helping others discover and develop the best version of themselves is what I was created to do. Nothing energizes me more than seeing the light flip on inside someone mid-conversation. It’s that ah-ha moment when they realize who they truly are, why they’re here and what kind of life is available to them, and I’m honored when I get to be a part of it.
